Employed
I am now a member of the Mougous Lab. Without getting into any scientific mumbo jumbo, I’ll just say that the lab researches bacteria and how they send out proteins to other cells. My first day on the job consisted of a 6 hour yearly summit and my first assignment was actually to call in our Thai food take out order. I’m really digging the atmosphere the lab has, I feel really welcomed here.
Also, at the end of the day I was invited to a short little conference with all of the other researchers on the floor. Wine and champagne was being served, so lets just say that I was having wine with a bunch of professors…
